The Lodar Industrial Radio Wireless Remote Controls do exactly as described. By using the Remote Radio Wireless Transmitter they will allow Winch systems, or any other Industrial and commercial application, to be controlled remotely up to 200 ft / 60M away (9000 series).

The receiver would be mounted near the Winch and receive signals from the Radio Wireless Transmitter handset, therefore operating the solenoids or valves – straight away. This enables you to stand clear while winching or for recovery vehicles, even sit in the breakdown vehicles and steer onto the recovery truck while operating the winch safely.

The Lodar wireless receiver can be mounted pratically anywhere on the vehicle as there are no external aerials to worry about which means that any  extra wiring is unnecessary. 

There are just four wires to connect the 2 Function Receiver, earth, supply, and solenoid in and solenoid out which makes connecting the Lodar very simple. This particular Lodar is configured to work with both 12 and 24 volt supplies. The Transmitter has an internal aerial, with large buttons that are easy to operate as well as Reset and Stop buttons all combined on within a durable, rubber encased handset.

Safety is an important element in the design of the new Lodar 9000. ALL models have an Electronic Stop System (ESS), with the Reset now being controlled from the Transmitter. The Receiver no longer has relays but solid state switching, overcoming the potential problem of sticking relays and allowing close control of the current to prevent burnt tracks in the event of overload.
