- A well built piece of kit, at home on a building site.
Purchased this winch to lift building materials onto scaffolding for my self-build house project. Delivered quickly and well packed by the Electric Winch Shop. It's an impressively heavy and sturdy piece of equipment, definitely a 2 person lift to lift onto a cantilevered scaffold tube. Took us a few minutes to work out how the safety interlock operates, as the instruction aren't very clear - but this does provide you with assurance that the winch is correctly secured in place before you can use it. Lifting performance seems fine, I'm only lifting few blocks at a time in a tray suspended from the winch hook so can't really comment on how it would be when fully loaded. There is a good length of thick cable on the pushbutton pendant providing some useful flexibility on where you operate it from. Overall I'm very pleased, it's looking like a well build piece of kit at home on a building site.
