Superwinch News Update

If you have been directed to this page you have either visited a page for a product that is no longer available, or clicked a link in one of our social feeds.

The 22nd of February was a very sad day for the Electric Winch Shop Team as it was the day that one of our most valued suppliers entered internation administration.  Since then a lot of things have changed.  Not only does this mean that Superwinch no longer have a presence in the UK, but it also means that we must say goodbye to our friends in Tavistock who have supported us over the years.

In addition to this, the USA side of Superwinch has now been totally dismantled - but that is certainly not the end of the Superwinch story!  The Superwinch Brand identity has been purchased by Westin Automotive and right now they are working hard to bring threre brand back up where is deserves to be.

However, with every positive comes a negative.  Many winches, accessories and spare parts are no longer available to purchase and any warranties held with Superwinch are no longer valid.  The Electric Winch Shop will still do everything we can to support our customers with a 12 month warranty from date of purchase, but this does mean that from 12 months after purchase any warranty claims will be invalid.

In order to best assist our customers we have purchased as many remaining spare parts as possible, but obviously these will be in short supply.

Below is a list of any Westin Automotive press releases and news that may be of interest.  This page will be updated as more information is released.

We would like to thank you for your understanding during this transitional period and we look forward to bringing you exciting new Superwinch products in the future.

During the process of Westin Automotive Products, Inc.’s due diligence to acquire specific assets, branding, and IP Rights for Superwinch products, we have become aware that some customers have expressed concerns via Facebook and the Superwinch website.

We fully understand these as valid concerns, and the confusion resulting as part of this transition process. Effective February 22, 2019, Superwinch Group, Inc. ceased operations in Portland, OR. However, this is not the end of the Superwinch brand. Westin Automotive Products, Inc., headquartered in San Dimas, CA, is in the process of acquiring specific assets, IP rights, and branding of SUPERWINCH. Westin looks forward to re-establishing the Superwinch brand’s business relationships with our automotive and industrial partners and is eager to integrate SUPERWINCH with the Westin family of products

During the transition process, SUPERWINCH will be unable to accept new orders, process warranty claims, or make inventory transactions of any kind. Customer service coverage may be limited as well, but we will do our best to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner. We would like to thank our loyal customers for standing by us through this process and hope to one day meet and exceed your expectations for the standards our brand has established over its many years.
